Many of you have expressed strong interest in the next "Makara's Inner Awakening with Wild Dolphins" retreat.   That's super awesome and we are all truly looking forward to having you with us!   

 

BUT BEFORE YOU REGISTER, it's of paramount importance you understand the mission surrounding Makara's dolphin retreats.   Please take a moment to watch the one minute video above to hear him explain what his retreats are really about. 

 

If you are just looking to "kick the bucket list to swim with the dolphins" and nothing more, this is definitely not for you.   Makara does not operate a "tour adventure company" where you just hop in the water, swim with the dolphins and that's it.  Far from it.   He goes above and beyond what they offer by working as a spiritual guide with the help of wild dolphins to open the way for people to dive deeper into themselves and awaken to their true spiritual potential.

It's about interacting with them in a meaningful way in the mornings and then participating in afternoon workshops skillfully led by Makara where he helps you tie in your sacred dolphin experiences with your life's journey, leading to more clarity, peace and joy.   Guest speakers are sometimes invited to assist with this process.  In addition, you will be learning about Makara's special "I AM THE OCEAN" underwater meditation technique to enhance your existing dry land meditation practices (even if you've never meditated before, you'll be among the few who got their start with mediation in the sea!)

Workshop topics include, but are not limited to, meditation techniques, the mystical underwater world of dolphins/whales and their spiritual messages for humanity.   You'll learn the "ABC's of Underwater Sign Language," where you'll develop fun nonverbal underwater communication skills!     Makara is also very passionate about the well being and safety of the dolphins and you will not only learn proper dolphin etiquette but also understand what to look for when swimming in their natural habitat.   Makara also aims to bring to you greater awareness of how to protect and respect the greater ocean environment.

Makara, is bilingual - he signs and speaks.  If you are deaf, don't worry, certified sign language interpreters will be on hand as both deaf and hearing participants are welcome!

Bottom line, if you are looking for all fun and games with dolphins but you don't care about the inner awakening workshops in the afternoons, you can contact a tour operation company on your own - they are all over the Island.
